ConneX Core

The operational layer for diagnostic fleets at scale.

Fleet operations, results and validation, analytics, and quality assurance across distributed diagnostic networks. One portal. Every gateway, every connector, every site.

Overview

The backend for everything that flows through ConneX.

Everything that moves through ConneX lands in Core: results, device telemetry, operator actions, consumables events, from Link gateways, the Link Agent, and external systems alike. Core stores it, normalises it against a unified schema, validates it against the rules you define, and keeps a complete audit trail. When data needs to move downstream into DHIS2, an EMR, a LIS, or a data warehouse, it goes through ConneX Bridge. Use an available connector, or we build the one you need.

Main functions

  • Ingest results, telemetry, and events from POC devices — via Link gateways or the Link Agent.
  • Normalize device-specific payloads into a unified schema you can query and report on.
  • Apply validation rules by test type, workflow, or site before anything moves downstream.
  • Trigger automations on events that matter — alerts, escalations, internal handoffs.
  • Maintain a complete audit trail — every record, every change, every event.

Capabilities

What Core does.

The day-to-day work of running a distributed diagnostic network — surfaced as six capabilities, in one portal.

Fleet operations

See the whole fleet, act on any device.

Drill from country to region to site to device. See what's offline and how long it has been, alongside what's running. Push firmware or configuration to any device without sending anyone to the field.

Results & validation

Every result, on the same terms.

Device-specific payloads come in from Link gateways and the Link Agent, normalize into a unified schema, and pass through validation rules tuned to test type, workflow, and site. What downstream systems consume is consistent, regardless of which device produced it.

Quality & operators

Quality runs as a workflow, not a report.

Run external quality assessments across distributed sites. Surface in-run QC and calibration alongside the results they certify. See operator protocol compliance — who ran which test, when, with what adherence — without building a parallel system to track it.

Consumables & supply

See it before it runs out.

Capture consumption device-side, alongside results. Watch what's on hand at each site, and where consumption patterns are shifting, before stock runs out. Supply chain becomes forecastable, not reactive.

Analytics & reporting

Built for the people running the program.

Volume, transmission, quality, connectivity — surfaced, not buried. Bring your own BI or data warehouse when you need more.

Multi-tenant & multi-country

One platform, sovereign by design.

Run multiple programs, institutions, or country instances from one Core — each with its own data residency, its own permissions, its own administrators. Segregated where it has to be. Unified where the operational learning compounds.

Security

Access control, encryption, audit — by design.

Access control
  • Multi-level roles for administrators, supervisors, and operators.
  • Organization- and facility-based permissions.
Encryption
  • End-to-end encryption (HTTPS / TLS).
  • Secure key management and credential isolation.
Audit & compliance
  • Every user action, every result change, every system event — captured with who and when.
  • Logs are discoverable and exportable for regulators, donors, and internal review.
  • Country-specific data residency available on dedicated and on-premise deployments.
  • Aligned with sectoral norms for clinical and health data; country-specific frameworks supported on request.

Deployment models

Configured to your program. Shared cloud, dedicated cloud, enterprise, or on-premise.

Available deployment options

  • Shared hosting — multi-tenant, optimized for agility and lower cost.
  • Dedicated hosting — exclusive environment for a single customer or country.
  • Enterprise hosting — high-performance, isolated infrastructure with advanced controls.
  • On-premise — installed within the customer's own data center, for institutions with the infrastructure and operations capacity to host it.

Each deployment model can be tailored to national or institutional needs — from pilot implementations to national-scale programs. SLA scales with your tier.
