ConneX Link

Diagnostic data, off the device. Reliably.

A hardened gateway that sits next to the device, takes the data feed directly, and keeps it moving regardless of local connectivity conditions. When the network drops, data is stored and transmitted automatically the moment it returns. No diagnostic result is lost due to connectivity issues.

ConneX Link X-300 hardware gateway

What it does

A gateway for diagnostic instruments and IoT, wherever they're deployed.

ConneX Link is a hardened gateway for diagnostic instruments and connected health IoT — deployed in clinics, community sites, mobile health units, and field programs. It sits next to the device, takes the data feed directly, and routes it to the backend over a private APN on a global cellular network — via our mobile communications partner, Telecom26. Multi-carrier failover is built in. Link supports 2-way operation for remote configuration and firmware updates.

Key capabilities

  • Secure transmission of results and telemetry.
  • Store-and-forward with automatic retries when the network drops.
  • Pre-configured global SIM on a private APN; multi-carrier roaming and fallback.
  • Remote configuration and firmware updates.
  • Per-device geolocation validation at the gateway.
  • Support for multiple manufacturers and protocols — POCT1-A, HL7, ASTM, FHIR, and custom.

Connectivity

Multiple channels, automatic failover.

ConneX Link supports multiple communication channels to ensure reliable connectivity in diverse environments — from urban hospitals to rural or resource-limited settings.

Supported interfaces

  • Ethernet — primary, stable connection for clinics and labs.
  • Mobile data — global SIM with multi-network switching.
  • Offline buffer — data stored and sent automatically once connectivity is restored.

Network resilience

  • Automatic switching between 2G / 3G / 4G (or 5G on the X-3000).
  • Multiple network operators via Telecom26.
  • Smart retry logic for congested or poor networks.

Coverage

Available in 200+ countries.

ConneX Link includes mobile data through our partner Telecom26, providing coverage in more than 200 countries and territories. Country availability and any per-territory commercial terms are part of the ConneX Link engagement — see country & network list.

Hardware

The Link gateway, and what comes next.

Two gateway variants — the production X-300 deployed at scale, and the higher-capacity X-3000 in development for higher-throughput sites.

In production ConneX Link X-300 gateway

ConneX Link X-300

The standard production gateway. Rugged, deployed at scale.

  • Supports 2G / 3G / 4G networks.
  • Rugged enclosure for clinic and field environments.
  • Best fit for low- to medium-volume programs.
In development ConneX Link X-3000 gateway (in development)

ConneX Link X-3000

Higher-capacity variant for higher-throughput sites and demanding deployment profiles.

  • Supports 3G / 4G / 5G networks.
  • Extended cellular antenna array.
  • Sized for higher-volume sites and multi-instrument deployments.
  • Talk to us if relevant to your program.

Software alternative

ConneX Link Agent.

Where a point-of-care instrument already runs on a Windows computer with a stable internet connection, the ConneX Link Agent delivers the same data path without additional hardware. Same protocols. Same fleet management. Same audit trail as the hardware gateway, managed from the same Core portal.

Programs typically deploy a mix: the X-300 hardware gateway at sites where connectivity cannot be assumed, the Agent where stable internet already exists. Both are visible and controllable from a single place.
